Pinoak Road – Friday, 04:30
Attempted house break-in. Three men cut a hole in the fence and were busy trying to take a glass door out when resident heard them and raised the alarm. The men ran back up into the mountain. Before the men ran one of them shouted at the resident, who had run into the road shouting for help, that they were looking for her and thought that she was away.

A laptop bag was taken from a motor vehicle outside house. There was a dog in the car, so the windows were open. Two young men, dressed in black, medium height walked past. Many personal items were also in the bag, including handwritten journals.

Vehicle was parked on the street. Upon starting it in the morning the vehicle warned of the passenger door being open. Resident noticed that the contents of the centre console as well as cubbyhole had been removed. The vehicle alarm did not go off, no windows broken and no sign of forced entry. Residient had locked the car.
