Draft liquor Regulations Open for Comment

The Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde, has just published draft regulations in terms of section 88 of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008 (as amended by the Western Cape Liquor Amendment Act, 2010). Comments on the draft regulations are to submitted by 7 March 2011, as follows:

DPVwatch is governed by a code of conduct and a constitution which is registered with the Department of Community Saftey. When we first registered our neighbourhood watch with the Department we adopted a standard copies of these documents to allow us to get going with the work of the neighbourhood watch. With our AGM on the 8th of October 2009 we have undertaken to update these documents to reflect the current position. These will then be ratified at the AGM.
